God has a dream for your life. Do you know what it is? Are you living it?
Do you need some help discovering it?
God redeemed Paul’s life story and past. Then God incorporated them into his purpose.
A description of Paul’s early life would say:
- Paul was an advanced student in Judaism trained by a top teacher, extremely zealous for tradition, an active persecutor and murderer of Jesus followers, an expert in the law, raised in the city, a Roman citizen, well connected, a leader and a Pharisee. Galatians 1:13-14, Acts 22:3-5, Philippians 3:4-6
But When God reveals Jesus to Paul, Paul experiences God’s grace.
-
“For you have heard of my previous way of life… But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles.” Galatians 1:15-16
- Paul knows he’s been saved, forgiven, and redeemed by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ Philippians 3:9, Ephesians 2:8-10
God relaunched Paul out into his purpose with a redeemed life and skills.
Then Paul’s life story and past were redeemed and incorporated into his assignment.
-
One example is evident In Paul’s letter to the Galatians. His persuasive teaching skills and his deep knowledge of the Jewish law are now used to show the connection to Christ. Paul’s redeemed gifts are advancing the message of Jesus. Galatians 2:15-21

Redeemed Zeal Galatians 4:17-18

Redeemed Citizenship Acts 22:28-29

Today’s Action:
Make a list of strengths, experiences, and descriptions that God has redeemed and repurposed for His mission in your life. Reflect on what themes stand out.
