As a woman, it can be hard to find places to connect with other women who will not only encourage you but point you to Jesus. CS Women is designed to help you find a community that fits your current season of life.

Check out all that's happening in CS Women!  See below some of our current events and Bible studies.

Who is Jesus? Why did He come to earth? How can I know Him?

We live in a world where there’s a lot of confusion about Jesus. Too often people want to shape Him and His message to fit their personal needs or agendas. So how can we know the truth?

Join author Angie Smith in this 8-session search for truth as she unfolds the story of our matchless Savior—His mission, miracles, and message. Through her signature wit and accessible style, Angie unpacks Scripture in a way that’s easy to understand, regardless of how long you’ve been studying the Bible (a great option for new believers!). This study will deepen your understanding of Jesus through biblical, historical, and cultural insight and help you see Him less as an iconic figure and more as an intimate friend.

Today’s culture and others’ views, even those of other Christians, can present a distorted view of God. Some suggest God exudes qualities He does not possess such as being unloving or apathetic toward His creation. In a world where we find people creating God in their own image, studying God’s names can remind us that we are created in His. In fact, one of the best ways to know God’s true character and grow closer to Him is to study His names.

In The Names of God, Melissa Spoelstra leads women on an exploration of the many names of our triune God—from El and Elohim to Yahweh and its many combinations to names such as Abba, Jesus, and Holy Spirit…and many others.

As women study the names of God, their ideas about God will become more grounded in what His names tell them, and thus more personal, allowing a greater trust in Him to share the details of their lives. Whether having walked with God for many years or just starting out in a relationship with Him, by the end of this study women will not only know more about God but will know Him better—because through the discovery of God’s names, they will discover Him!

If you were a slave, who would buy your freedom? If you had an enemy, who would come to your defense? In the Old Testament, this buyer-defender known as a "kinsman redeemer" was usually a close relative. If you're a believer, you already have one—Jesus Christ! This rich study shows how Jesus both bought us (redeemer) and advocates (defends) for us, offering us an opportunity to rebuild our broken lives.

Mentoring

Are you looking for guidance from older women in the faith? To learn how connect faith with your every-day? Growth in your relationship with Jesus?

In this 1-year commitment younger women in faith will walk with older women in the faith. They will encourage and challenge one another in their walk with Jesus. With monthly check-ins and a daily workbook through scripture, mentees will talk about The Word, Prayer, Identity, Calling, Relationships and Gratitude in one year.

This mentoring journey is rooted in the bible and invites mentees to connect what is happening in their life, with what they are reading in scripture. Mentors are there to encourage, guide, and spur along conversation and learning throughout the year.

APPLICATIONS OPEN IN AUGUST 2022
