Biblical Counseling Training

August 3, 2025 - November 16, 2025

Do you like listening to people and helping them figure things out? Do you wish you knew how to apply the Bible to the everyday issues of life? Do people seek you out for advice? If you said yes, we have a program for you!

Biblical Counseling is a personal discipleship ministry carried out by God’s people under the guidance of the local church. It relies fully on the authority and sufficiency of God’s Word and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. The goal is to help individuals change their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and worship in a way that honors and pleases God. This is accomplished by lovingly speaking the truth and applying Scripture directly to life’s struggles. Biblical counselors offer comfort to the hurting, call people to turn from sin, and walk with them as they grow in spiritual maturity and follow Jesus Christ more faithfully.

This training consists of three modules as follows:

Introduction to Biblical Counseling

Typical Problems in Biblical Counseling

Marriage and Family Counseling

Please attend our Interest Meeting as a prerequisite

*If you are unable to attend the prerequisite, please contact us at counseling@cornerstoneaz.com*
