Discover Your Purpose

God has a dream for your life. Do you know what it is? Are you living it?
Do you need some help discovering it?

God created intersections between Paul and key people that accelerated God’s purposes.

All throughout Paul’s life, God created intersections between Paul and other people. These people would help support, grow, or accelerate God’s purpose in Paul’s life.

  • God used a man named Ananias to meet Paul at a critical point in His life to help Paul better see Jesus and grow in His new faith.
    • “The Lord told Ananias, “Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying." Acts 9:10-19
  • God used a past relationship with Barnabas to open the door for Paul to be invited into his first major ministry assignment in Antioch.
    • “But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. He told them how Saul on his journey had seen the Lord and the Lord had spoken to him, and how in Damascus he had preached fearlessly in the name of Jesus” Acts 9:27
    • “Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch.” Acts 11:25

Today’s Question:

How has God intersected me with others to accelerate His purposes?

Today’s Action:

Make a list of important people in your life. Write down how they have impacted your life. Reflect on the growth, skills, values, and opportunities that may have come about from each relationship.

Come back tomorrow to learn about how God did not waste Paul’s past!
