God has a dream for your life. Do you know what it is? Are you living it?
Do you need some help discovering it?
Paul’s preparation translated into character, skills, and focus.
-
“But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace… so that I might preach him among the Gentiles. My immediate response was not to consult any human being. I did not go up to Jerusalem… but I went into Arabia” Galatians 1:13-24
-
“They took him down to Caesarea and sent him off to Tarsus” (for 7 years) Acts 9:30
-
Then after fourteen years, Paul went to leaders in Jerusalem. He had growing focus and skill in his calling to preach the message of Jesus to all people, especially the Gentiles. Galatians 2:1-10
Preparation happens in both ordinary days and in intentional ways. Looking back on your own story, how might some of your experiences contain valuable preparation?
Today’s Question:
What skills and perspectives did God develop in me, and how am I using them to complete my assignment?
Today’s Action:
Make a list of your key life experiences. Write down what strengths, skills, and character came about from each experience. Look at your list, are there any themes that stand out to you?
