God has a dream for your life. Do you know what it is? Are you living it?
Do you need some help discovering it?
No matter your answer, you are in the right place!
Our prayer is over the next five days God will help clarify your purpose and empower you to live it out.
A man named Paul, in a farewell meeting, said, “My only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord has set before me”
Acts 20:24. This phrase “finish the race and complete the task” is packed with meaning. Could Paul have been clear on what his task, his race, his purpose from God was? The answer is yes! Let’s walk through Paul’s life and discover how he came to understand his life purpose and how he sought its completion.
Paul was focused by a clear understanding of the specific assignment God had given to him.
- Paul’s assignment was to preach the Gospel of Jesus to everyone but especially to the Gentiles. Discover his story in Acts 9:1-19.
-
“Paul is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel” Acts 9: 15
-
“Get up, the Lord said and go into Damascus. There you will be told all that you have been assigned to do.” Acts 22:10-11
Today’s Question:
Am I clear about the assignment God has given to me?
Today’s Action:
Spend a few minutes writing out your current understanding of God’s assignment for your life. Write down anything that comes to mind. Remember, most people do not have a simple sentence like Paul right away. Write down a few words, thoughts, or ideas today. Ask God for guidance. You can adjust and edit your statement in the future.
Come back tomorrow to learn about Paul’s unique preparation!
