Matthew’s Crossing Food Bank     Kid-friendly


PROJECT:
Pack food for needy families in the East Valley.

TIME:
8:00AM-10:00AM

LOCATION:
Arizona Ave and Elliot (Praise & Worship Center 2551 N Arizona Ave Chandler, AZ 85225 -in parking lot east of the building)

AGE RESTRICTION:
6+ with parent or guardian

ATTIRE:
Project is outside so wear appropriate clothing for the weather. Bring Water!


Midwest Food Bank     Kid-friendly


PROJECT:
Help organize and pack assorted food items for a faith-based organization committed to sharing the love of Christ by fighting hunger, addressing malnutrition, and supporting disaster relief efforts. REGISTRATION LINK WILL TAKE YOU TO THE MIDWEST FOOD BANK WEBSITE TO SIGN UP.

TIME:
9:00AM-11:30AM

LOCATION:
Baseline Rd & McQueen Rd (Midwest Food Bank, 725 E Baseline Rd Gilbert, AZ 85233)

AGE RESTRICTION:
All Ages Welcome. Children must be accompanied by parent or guardian.

ATTIRE:

OFF CAMPUS (TEENS & ADULTS)

Tempe Community Action Agency


PROJECT:
Grab a brush and a broom! Paint walls and help with cleaning for a local organization that serves vulnerable people in our community.

TIME:
9:00AM-12:00PM

LOCATION:
Price Rd. & Apache Blvd. (Tempe Community Action, 2146 E Apache Blvd, Tempe 85281)

AGE RESTRICTION:
16+ with parent or guardian

ATTIRE:
Close-toed shoes and clothing appropriate for working and painting.

PROJECT:
Help beautify the campus of a Title One School in Mesa by painting a mural on one of the buildings walls.

TIME:
8:30 AM - 11:00 AM

LOCATION:
Dobson and Main (202 North Sycamore, Mesa 85201)

AGE RESTRICTION:
14+ with parent or guardian.

ATTIRE:
Close-toed shoes and clothing appropriate for painting, sunscreen & water
